A weeks reflection.

Updated: Jul 15

Hello friends ! This week I will be sharing Psalm 143 broken down in a week.

Each verse will help you not only learn the word of God but reflect on how to apply it to your day .

Let’s get started with todays verse :

DAY 1 - Psalms 143: 5

I remember the days of long ago; I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done.

Reflect :

In the midst of our trouble, darkness, or hurt our souls needs to REMEMBER in order to praise.

If we don’t know God's power we won’t have that faith or hope for salvation.

Start spending time with God so you can meditate on His word. Reading the Bible and sticking with a Bible study can be hard but that’s why we need to ask the Holy Spirit to push us and energize us

Challenge: If you don’t have a Bible plan or devotional, look for one according to your spiritual need and organize your days with when and what time you’ll do it.

Here are some devotionals we provide for free: https://www.shes-morethan.com/devotionals

Tips&trick: You can always use today's verse and place it in your calendar or reminders to notify you about it.

God bless and remember that YOU'RE MORE THAN A CONQUEROR

DAY 2- Psalm 143:6

“I spread out my hands to you; I thirst for you like a parched land.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭143:6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

There is a major need expressed in this verse, this is a cry for help.

Stretching out and being thirsty both express and action of reaching out to Jesus with the all the strength you have and needing your soul to be renewed.

As we Stretch out to God with thirst, we become renewed but this must be don by meditating on His works [Psalm 143:5] and on His power. This will push and lift you out of the pit because you’re taking ACTION Into your life.

  • Am I stretching out to God or am I just shrugging my shoulders about it ?

  • Am I reflecting how I am running each day or my life style and changing, sacrificing or adjusting my habits & schedule to a point where I am giving God more time?

DAY 3 part 1 - Psalm 143:8

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. …

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭143:8‬ ‭NIV

Many times we find ourselves “Scheduling failure” and what I mean by this is that we say things like “Mondays suck” or “ugh I’m not looking forward for tomorrow”. These little things set us back because we are preparing a devastating expectation.

David says “ Let the morning bring…” which can mean a new opportunity for a new day, requesting an ASAP answer or a fast response.

Hope is expecting something to happen so when we place our Hope in the Lord we are applying our trust in Him to control that expectation.

Create a New Hope and don’t block out your agenda to live in darkness

In our distress we can gain many attributes to help you over come all things and Hope is one of them [Romans 5:3-4] but we have to go through them to work our trust in God
